Her mentors tried to curb her tendency to predict catastrophes, yet her undesirable predictions did come true,
and they reluctantly agreed with her translation of the signs she kept spotting before anyone else.
Over time, Kara carved herself a career as an esteemed mystic, consulted by nobles and generals alike.
As a long-lived elf, she peers for herself into the future, and used to see shadowy doom looming over the world.
Portents spoke of a dark entity promised to rule over this plane of existence.
Recently these omens began to change, with a sudden resurgence of force to her patron, the Tide Star:
suddenly destiny shifted to a much nearer clash between the forces of elemental balance and a gloomy challenger.
Kara decided to answer this call to action and to fight this paralyzing portent.
Maybe once the fate of the world is clear, her predictions will in turn become happier!
