The objective of the game is to bring your token to the goal (or all goals, in harder variants).
The token will move on its own, every turn, to an adjacent card. That card must be of the next suit in the serie: ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦. For example, if the token is on a ♣, it will move to an adjacent ♦. If there is no valid destination, you'll lose! If there are multiple, one will be chosen at random.
The Jokers will also move, semi-randomly, every turn, by trading place with an adjacent card. The Blue Joker will prefer trading with cards of higher rank (Kings & Queens). The Orange Joker will prefer trading with cards of lower rank (Aces & Twos). The harder Purple Joker prefers high ranks, then rotate cards around it clockwise. The harder Green Joker prefers low ranks, then rotate cards around it counterclockwise. If your token ends up on a joker, you lose! Plan accordingly!
Every turn, you will trade a card from your hand (at the bottom) with a card on the field. Simply drag & drop a card in either direction, or click the cards you wish to swap. Use this to create a path to the goal, to place a desired card in your hand, or to lure away the jokers.
You can't trade a card in your hand with a joker. You can't trade the card that's currently under your token . However, you can trade the card that's below the goal .
You will need both strategy and luck to win. Here's a hint: you can get your token stuck in a square ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ loop while you deal with the jokers!
